About Merrill Bennett

As an active Colorado Springs resident, he enjoys all the staple activities the beautiful state offers including fishing, camping with his family, woodworking, and really anything outdoors.

Merrill and his wife enjoy traveling. They have taken a couple of trips to Costa Rica, spent ½ a month between France, Switzerland, and Italy, as well as vacationed to Bar Harbor, Maine to visit friends and visited San Diego a number of times in the last several years. Currently, they are both looking forward to traveling more once their children get a bit older.

Both Merrill and his wife have been involved with foster care over the last seven years. In that time they have adopted a sweet eight-year-old girl named Olivia and an adorable four-year-old boy named Gabriel. Their newest addition is a one-year-old baby boy who keeps them both on their toes.

Merrill comes from a large family consisting of four other siblings who all enjoy spending time together with their growing families.

He also attends a bible study at his church and volunteers for various church activities as needed.
